Meet Our Pastor

CHARLES RIGGS – Pastor

Pastor Charles joined our family in February of 2004. He is glad to be at St. John’s and has also served congregations in Ogden, Tucson, and the Kansas City Area. He wants to continue St. John’s worship options, to increase our educational programs and to widen the usage and development of our facilities. He is always glad to provide pastoral visits as needed.

Pastor “C” enjoys being a pastor, encouraging folks and visiting with them. He also enjoys swimming and tennis. He and his wife Carol have two adult sons, both married. Carol teaches Kindergarten in the Palm Springs District and can often be found greeting folks on Sunday mornings at the Name Tag Center.

Pastor´s Welcome

Welcome to St. John’s … It’s good to have you visit us. We are an active group made up of community Christians year round and a number of part-time people who winter here and come for recreational pursuits. You might especially appreciate our variety in worship styles which offer traditional liturgy at our 9:00 A.M. service or our jazz and praise worship service at 11:00 A.M.

We regularly have some special music emphasis. There are opportunities for service and small groups in ministry for spiritual growth. Some of our young people do puppet ministry and our own kids like to help out in worship. We’d be glad to communicate with you further. Visit our church and join us in worship.
